A Milwaukee, Wis., man accused of drag racing and inflicting a crash that killed two folks has been charged with reckless murder.
In accordance with a legal criticism, witnesses advised police it appeared a automobile pushed by 25-year-old Michael Howard was racing one other car when he struck a 3rd car, killing its two occupants on Aug. 15.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Workplace recognized the victims as 66-year-old Neil McCarthy and 21-year-old Danielle Jefferson, each of Milwaukee.
Investigators say Howard was going about 55 mph in a 35 mph pace zone.
He’s charged with 4 felonies, together with two counts of second-degree reckless murder and two counts of knowingly working a motorized vehicle with a suspended license, inflicting dying.
